What is the best way to preserve and store documents, prints, boo and photographs so that they are kept in optimal conditions? How should photogrpahs, prints or drawings be framed? Which are the ideal requirements for their exhibition?

In this knowledge pill you are about to learn that not all “archival” products are convenient for long lasting purposes.

A deeper knowledge into supports and ageing mechanisms. Delving also into the available products and materials (paper, plastic, adhesives…) that we can use to preserve archival heritage you will achieve the necessary notions to guarantee a long lasting preservation of your archive. Learning to make conservation folders, wrappers, mounts, hinges, corners… but most of all a set og guidleines will be given in order to choose the materials that guarantee a best preservation for a collection.
